Bingo!!!

You are my sunshine
Perfect match
For the international scrapbooking day, the 6th of March, there was a crop at Hip Kit Clubs
facebook forum. Every hour for two whole days a new challenge was
presented and you had until the following Tuesday submit your entries.
Here's my last entry for the crop and it was to a challenge where you had to use a grid pattern on your project. You could choose how many grids you used and I find this kind of sketch really hard and played it safe with only two. It didn't come out as I wanted it but that happens sometimes :)

For this challenge you had to lift yourself, that is to choose a project of your own and make a new version of it. Get inspired by the colors, the sketch or something else. I choose to lift this LO where my twins were still in my big belly and for my new LO I choose pictures from the twins' christening and this LO is almost a copy of the old one but in a new color :)
And! Doing the happy dance, I won this challenge!!

In this challenge you had to use at lest three different fonts in your layout. I most often use only one word in my title so I found it quit hard to get any ideas. But my 2-year-old twins watch Alvin and the chipmunks over and over again so this song "X-mas, x-mas time is here..." was on my mind when I started thinking of my project so there it was. I must say that it felt a bit strange to scrap i Christmas LO in May :)

For this challenge there was a recipe of thing you had to have on your project. I found this LO really fun to make since I rarely make my focus in a vertical way, which was one of the ingredients in the recipe.

Here the main focus of the challenge was to use a lot of layers. I often use a lot of paper layers on my LOs so this was really fun to do. I tried to put in as much stuff I found :)

In this challenge you had to use mist och watercolors on your project. I chose to use to different colors of mist and used them with water to make them softer, almost like watercolors. I often find myself using two contrasting colors when I scrap my twins, and theese two colors are my two favourite ones I think.

This challenge was based on patterned papers. No cardstock for background!! I chose to challenge myself a bit more and chose a really fun paper patterned with lovely flowers. To make the photo show better I chose to whitewash the background a bit with gesso and took a black-and-white photo so it wouldn't just blend in with the background.

Here's a challenge that I found hard but really funny to participate in. You had to use a big and bold title so I made my title the main thing in my LO with my sweet husband as the O in LOVE. The L, V and E I handwrote and filled in with promarkers :)
