At Words and Paintery you have a lovely trio of colors with the words "Light will guide my way home". I chose to interpret these words in my light photo of me and my youngest girl taken in our home. Where ever I go, I have my kids (the light in my life) at home, and there I will always return.
Berry71Bleus have a June moodboard in soft colors and they call it the Serenity mood board. I wanted to catch that serenity feeling in my layout so I tried to keep it light and bright as a summer day at home, lying in the hammock with the blue skies above, green grass below and butterflies fluttering around the flowers. That's serenity to me.
It's been a while since I really went all-in with mixed media on my layouts but thankfully More Than Words June challenge inspired me to "get messy". This months word is Imagine. I used the word both on and in my layout, using it as inspiration to create a fairytale feeling in my layout.
